This book is nicely organized with precalculus functions and beginning calculus. It starts out with a review of algebra operations like radicals, rationals, linear equations, etc. Then it begins with great function lessons and exercises. Then it goes into what limits are, where they are used, etc. Very good examples throughout. I think it will take me a year to go through it (I'm a self learner), but for people who are good in math, you could likely get through it easily. It would also make a great addition if you need extra help in precalculus or calculus 1. Lots of exercises for you to work as well.I found out about this book because one of the authors did a really fantastic lecture course: http://www.thegreatcourses.com/courses/change-and-motion-calculus-made-clear-2nd-edition.html That gave me understanding of what calculus is and how it's used. I always need context to learn math.
