Try squares typically are guaranteed to be square only on the outside edge, and these are no different.I have a DIN 875/00 reference square that I used to check these. Sitting flat on a reference surface, all four of these squares are dead on against the 875/00 reference square. However, if you put the reference square on the inside angle of these squares, a couple of them have 1 to 1.5 thou gaps near the top.Further, the bottom of the 3" square is not ground flat. It wobbles side to side a bit.Lastly, all of these seem to be canted to the side a tiny bit. The reference square still makes contact with them along their length, but it's clear they are not leaning off to one side.Overall a decent value and as long as you use primarily their outside angle as a reference, they'll be fine.
