I especially love this because it provides coverage for my 7 year old daughter who happens to have lots of junk in the trunk. She's a size 8 in clothes mail for length as she is quite tall for her age. This size 8 fit as expected( a little large in the waist) bt i was able to take the sides in so it would not slip off in the pool.Purchased this for my average size 11 year old daughter in size 14 based on reviews that this suit (and others of same brand name) runs quite small. It was too large on both top & bottom.So I would say the size 14 runs TRUE TO SIZE (not small).I bought the 10 size for my average-sized 10 yr old and it was far too tight! We exchanged it for the 12 and that fits her perfectly. She is about 55 ins tall (4ft 7ins or so) and weighs 72lbs. Other than the sizing, it's a lovely swimsuit and was a big hit. It's very comfortable and stays where it should, so it's great for jumping about and playing in.Great bathing suit for the money you pay. The quality is good, the color is great and my daughter is happy with the way it looks on her....
