SMP Selle Forma Saddle Celeste - Premium Comfort Bike Seat for Road & Mountain Bikes - Perfect for Long Rides & Commuting

I took a huge risk and bought this saddle without test riding it. I do not recommend that approach to anyone, ever.With that being said, I spent a lot of time on this site: [...] before I purchased, so I had some idea what I was getting myself into. I was skeptical when I first installed the saddle on my bike and sat on it for the first time in normal shorts; it seemed very hard (the Forma is entirely unpadded). However, even just sitting on the saddle I could tell something was different, in a good way.When I went and sat on one of my other bikes, the difference became clear. I never realized how much pressure was put on my soft tissue, especially in the drops, until after sitting on the SMP. I was still skeptical, though.Finally got out on the road a few days after purchase, and my skepticism has vanished. The odd looking nose provides sweet relief for the boys, and once you are actually pedaling, the weight distribution is amazing. I only got in a 10 mile ride, but I can already tell this is the saddle for me. I will be buying another SMP for my other road bike.The only drawback, oddly, is that I find it so comfortable while wearing bike shorts that I had a little trouble finding my balance on it. Without the pressure on the nerves, I can't quite feel the saddle like normal. Riding no handed on this will take some getting used to - and I'm the kind of guy who can usually sit up on any bike, take off his coat, and eat a GU no handed cranking along pretty good.
