I have had this bag for a year now.It did awesome I travel every other week for a week at a time.Fits perfectly in over head with enough room.First time it’s had to be checked due to smaller plane the pullout handle will not go back in.I believe it was crushed while under the plane.Bottom front pocket zipper limited use within first 35-days; other than that carry on served its purposeI tested zippers, handle, and wheels before using. Apparently I should have tried zipper more than open close test. We used bottom front pocket for quick access to travel file of five pages. Zipper jammed right after rent a car picked up. However all the other zippers operate smoothly.Handle extends, locks, and contracts easily.Wheels operate without kinks...as they should..forward, backward, and to the sidesInterior- sufficiently held eye glass cases, camera, neck pillows, thin jackets, and small travel case.Safe Travels :)I am writing this review after exactly 1 year of owning this bag and 5 major trips. I am a believer in one bagging when travelling, so I was looking for a sturdy four wheeled bag which can last me a SEA and a Euro trip. Well it did (as my only piece of luggage), and it still looks as good as new even though I dragged it in gross pavements, rain, puddles, and miles worth of airport. It shows no sign of wear despite my abuse, and all four wheels work fine.So for the important stuff first:- It will pass through domestic and international flights as a carry on (if its zipped and not over full)- It is not a light bag and weighs 7 pounds (3kg) when completely empty, this is almost half of the allowance of 15 pounds. You can find lighter bags but they wont be as sturdy and will have 2 wheels usually instead of 4 (I love 4 wheels). Either way the weight is the bags biggest weakness.- It will easily fit overhead storage on even the cheapest budget airline planes (as long as its zipped).- The color does not fade in rain, and it looks very good. The brown is a nice contrast to the average black or blue bags you see in the airport.- Bag comes with a small button able strong plastic pouch to store liquids in. Its a bit of a pain to attach and remove it in the chaos of airport security though, and I just use it for my toothbrush. One general advice is that generally the super budget airlines are most likely to weigh the carry on bags and these types of wheeled bags are always screened by them (as opposed to hiking style bags which almost never arent). If you want a bag which looks good and can take a beating go with this one, if you want something ultralight then keep looking. For the extra sturdiness, the weight was good. Love the look and feel as well as usefulness. The brown may not have been the best choice. It would get full stars were it not for the zipper sticking. It feels like the teeth were a little crushed or made slightly wrong. We are hoping it wears in.Liked everything about this bag... it fit into the overhead bins of 4 different types of aircraft! It holds a LOT and rolls smoothly. And it seems like it will last for a long time!I was waiting to write the review until after I used it. From first sight I was in love with this roller and could not wait to use. It doesn't look cheap at all. I used it this weekend and couldn't have been more satisfied. It roomy and classy looking. Buy buy buyThis may be a bit lengthy, but bear with me please. My old Nautica 22" carry on blew a seam on our last trip. Bound and determined that I was going to limit myself strictly to a carry on bag because I DETEST paying the greedy airlines for checked luggage. Especially so since they've bumped the fee from $25.00 to $35.00. So I set off on my search for a new bag.I searched on line for days and read tons of reviews. Plus I went to several stores to look at bags. I felt I wanted a soft sided bag and it HAD to be a spinner period. I looked long and hard at the big names like Samsonite, American Tourister, Travel Pro and Briggs and Riley. Although I am sure they are top shelf bags, quality and all ..... I couldn't get past believing that a good portion of their asking price just included the privilege of putting their name on the bag???? Thus putting them out of reach of what I was willing to spend.Early on I kept coming back to this bag time and again. It had everything I wanted. It is a good looking bag. Plus it had 8 wheels that appear to be securely mounted to the chassis to the bag. The telescoping handle feels firm and secure and not flimsy like brand X I found at the brick and mortar places. I did in fact pay a little more than I had intended on, but it fulfilled my list of must haves. So we'll see how it holds up under my abuse.I was very pleased with the amount of room that this bag has. Was perfect as a carry on for my last trip. I was able to get a full week of clothes in it, with a bit of room for extra stuff. Very durable and wheeled all over 6 different airports with ease. I recommend this bag as a great carry on bag. Fits well in the overhead compartment in the plane. Complies with Delta and United size requirements.
