I ordered this because it advertised a left or right handed orientation, and did not have a wraparound zipper. Both of these things are true.It is a very nice black leather. I know this company advertises other colors, but I wasn't sure what I'd get in this model.In spite of the lack of wraparound zipper, this thing is thick, I'd say 3/4" (about 12-15 mm for you metrics guys). The inside is nearly usable for both left and right handers, except the pen loop in the middle floats towards the bottom when it's in left hand mode, meaning your pen/pencil needs to be inserted tip up. It might have been a better design to put the pen loop right in the center.It is nice leather and I hope to get good use out of it.
