If you want sheets that are of a substantial weight and very soft, these are for you. I only buy 1000 tc or higher, but the last few years what I've receive are cheap knock off's and no where near the quality of this set. They actually are oversized which is what I need as my mattress is quite thick. The other sets I've bought in the past shrunk so bad that the fitted sheet only covers about 1/2 the mattress and had to be held on with garters. The flat sheet eventually only covered 3/4 of the bed. Luckily I'm the only one in it, so I could put the bigger share on the side I slept on. But, I've had this set for several weeks now & I couldn't be happier. I've washed them 4 times and the stitching has held up great! No fraying, or loose threads. And the best part, very little shrinkage! Hey folks, they are 100% cotton, so just by the nature of the beast they will shrink some, but nothing like my other sets. You do have to wash them in cold water & dry on low heat. And I wash the fitted sheet with 2 pillow cases & the flat sheet with 2 cases. That's how thick these sheets are & that's a good thing. There has been NO pilling at all and they just continue to get softer with each washing. I don't understand the negative reviews here. These are not rough at all and they are of an excellent quality material. Buyer beware of the place you buy them from tho. This seller is selling the real thing. I bought what I thought was the exact same sheet set from another seller about a year ago & what I got from them was very different. They were cheap knock offs and no where near the quality of the set I received from this seller. They shipped quickly and were well packaged and all in all a great experience. I can't wait to go to bed at night & hate to get out of bed in the morning. I'm a very happy camper & will definitely buy more sets from this seller.
