Before I purchase these sissy bar bags I did a lot of research on line. I worried a bit about ordering these because of some of the bogus ratings it got from buyers. Let me say that who cares about a hidden gun pocket! Give me a break, what are you going to do leave your gun hidden in your bike bag? Are you going to have it loaded in case you need it? Good luck getting it out in an emergency. There is plenty of room in these bags to have a gun case if you want to carry your gun in these bags. ha,ha Another point I would like to make is that I picked these bags up at the post office on my bike and installed them before I left the P.O.. The adjustable velcro straps were tricky but easy enough to get tight. The bags also came with a "Y" strap that hooked on the top enter of the back of the main bag, went down over the center of the Sissy Bar Pad and the two side straps went down under the sissy bar, around the carry rack a couple of times and then back up the hook on the "D" rings on the back sides of the main bag. Easy enough with anyone with an imagination. I put the "Y" strap on first and them wrapped the velcro straps around them on the sissy bar pad. Had both bags installed and tight on the bike within 10 minutes. The upper bag has two straps with buckles over the top to hold it to the main bag along with 4 metal attachment clips that attach to "D" rings around the top of the main bag.Not only that but it also has two shoe string cords that will allow you to attach an extra coat or rain suit to the very top of the bags. Honestly, after I installed the bags on my Yamaha Road Star Silverado I couldn't get out of the post office parking lot for the people stopping to compliment me on my bike. 3 old Vets, fellow riders and two women commented and began conversations about my bike, as soon as I had them mounted. Love the classic looks and added carrying capacity for going to the store. All and all I would rate these bags with 5 stars and think some of the lesser review are not well founded.Update; I FOUND THE HIDDEN GUN POCKET....it's in plain sight on the front of the bag. You just unzip it, pull it from the velcrow backing and you can put your gun in it and hide it in your gun safe. Wa La!
