I've gotten a lot of use out of this tent this summer, from high desert windstorms to New England thunderstorms. Overall it has exceeded my expectations and served me well. It's a great tent for one person who wants to have a lot of space for gear inside and would be roomy for two people. You could cram 3 people inside but no way 4 will fit with gear. It's pretty light for its size but I would recommend it only for car camping.Pros:Easy for 1 person to set up alone, even without looking at instructions.I bought this tent because the entire top half is mesh and I wanted to be able to stargaze at night - and it is great for that.It has a full flysheet that comes all the way down to the ground and keeps the rain off the tent. The upper vents in the flysheet are handy and usable.Did not leak in a 1-hour torrential downpour nor after steady rain for more than 12 hours. Even with the vents open, no water got inside during rain.Stands up well to strong winds and windstorms and keeps almost all the dust particles out.Cons:You will need to get two additional stakes and guylines for the side flaps of the flysheet. You need to buy a separate footprint - the one they recommend here works fine but is a little flimsy.I find the vestibule zippers to be really hard to reach when closing/opening the flysheet from inside if the ground isn't perfectly flat.I wish the flysheet zippers went up a little higher to make it easier to get in/out.protection.This tent is well made and easy to set up. The zippers and seams are well made, the zippers catch on the cover flap and the rain fly easily like all tents but I never got anything irreversibly stuck/jammed. There's not as much head room as my last tent but it was comfortable and kept us snug and dry in downpouring thunderstorms.I got the footprint tarp for it as it was on sale and it worked great- the fact that I can anchor the poles into it to makes it way better than just a tarp. There was no odor upon first opening it. It kept all the bugs out. I put a weighted blanket down on the floor on the inside once it's set up and it works fantastic. I am 6 ft tall and my dog is a very tall Borzoi around 107 lbs and it was perfect for us without anyone getting kicked/elbowed. I wouldn't advise trying to fit 3 or 4 adults in it, especially if you have ANY stuff. The rainfly works well and does take away some ventilation but it also provides privacy. I did not get a lot of moisture/condensation in my tent overnight in the dampness in the mountains where we camped like we did with my last tent.I'm really happy with this tent and expect it hold up for many years.
