Extremely well made sockets. This is the one you want for most lamps (1/8 IPS size -- which measures 3/8" diameter). If you have the larger size, you'll need the other model.The only reason I don't give this five stars is that the dimmer is basically incompatible with dimmable LED bulbs. Many dimmers are not officially compatible but work somewhat. The issue relates to the bias voltage needed to run the TRIAC and CCR. This one, however, is especially problematic with LED bulbs. I hope they produce a new dimmer circuit soon.
