La Rochelle Sophia 4-Piece Queen Coverlet Set in Champagne - Luxury Bedding for Master Bedrooms & Guest Rooms

I bought this coverlet for my room and I absolutely love it! It's beautiful! It's not a duvet cover though you might think it is. You cannot put a duvet inside this. It's simply a coverlet, like a thin comforter. I took a chance with it because I find comforters to be quite hot so I find myself slipping out of them at night. I adore this coverlet, it's thin enough not to be suffocating but thick enough to keep you warm. It's really soft and pretty. Everyone I have shown it to has loved it. When you first take it out it's a bit wrinkled and doesn't look like much but once you make your bed and fluff it up a bit it's stunning! I would definitely recommend! (:The one I received doesn't match the color of the one shown at all! it is more yellowish than champagne on ANY day!The one shown says it comes with 2 shams and a skirt but mine did not??? Ordering another one to "see just what they truly sent me was even accurate" ...requesting Amazon to replace the item and in a couple days when I receive I will gladly update my review to include info on the shams and the skirt if I receive them of course! The coverlet is just that a thin coverlet. Not as thick as the picture at all and definetly closer to a pale yellow than any other color and definetly NOT CHAMPAGNE!I love this coverlet since it's so elegant and brings texture to our room. It's very old world cottage-y without feeling dated. So I love that about it. I knew when I bought this that it was not a breathable fabric and ya, so, it doesn't breathe at all. I just fold it a few times to the bottom of the bed before I pull the covers. Nice though, my feet are a lot warmer.I like the bedding, but its a little more shiny than I expected. It looks great on my bed and makes the room look spacious.This is a gorgeous light blue/green/gray color. It has more green and gray than blue and I love it! I call it seafoam silver. Perfect color for my bedroom with Sherwin Williams "Tree Swallow" paint! The picture here looks light blue to me.Hope that helps with the color swatch!I waited too long to open it to use on my bed and the color is ALL wrong. It looks like a cream in the picture but is almost a YELLOW and does not go with my bedroom.. Now I am sad that I am stuck with it.. I guess I will have to give it away, since I cannot use it. I order from amason.ocm a lot, but now I am not sure if I will again.I've had this coverlet set for a few months now and it is ABSOLUTELY beautiful. Since I am still in college, I wanted something that was classy, sophisticated, and timeless -and this coverlet is EXACTLY that. I matched it with gold silk sheets and my room just looks beautiful. Definitely 5 stars.It is definitely not the quality I expected. You get what you pay for, sorry I could not rate any higher.
