I bought all three of these books for my daughter. She liked them, but didn't play with then too much. The pictures were lovely. However the age at which she could appreciate the art didn't synch too well with the age at which she could enjoy the puzzles. Because the picture is behind he puzzle, the puzzles became too easy too quickly. Of course you want this in case the puzzle becomes lost, you still have the pictures. Now she is older, I'd rather have the books without the puzzles.Also, the puzzles fit quite tightly into the frame. You want this because you can be sure that you won't lose any pieces, but a child's fingers will have a hard time squeezing the last pieces in, and will require an adult's assistance. This is fine if the parent and child are doing this together.
