i bought this suit for a 10 day beach vacation. i chose gottex because i have always heard the brand makes good quality suits. i was not disappointed. during my trip, i swam in the ocean and pool every day, wore the suit incessantly, washed it in the washing machine, and really just put it to the test. the suit is still like new, no threads dangling. the straps are removable. i took on strap off completely and used the other strap halter-style, and it worked beautifully. i am 5'4" w/29" waist and 36B cup, and the size 6 held me in where it counted. the pattern is flattering and the colors are really pretty. my boyfriend stated that it "kind of looked retro, but not like something my grandmother would wear," so i guess that was a compliment?? i enjoyed this suit and i am glad it stood up to the elements and i can still use it again next year!
