Speedo Women's PowerFLEX Eco Active Criss Cross Front One Piece Swimsuit - High Performance Swimwear for Lap Swimming, Water Aerobics & Beach Activities

I purchased this suit in a size 12 adult for my 10-year-old daughter who is big for her age (5'1" tall, 148 lbs). It's almost impossible to find swimsuits for her that fit and are age-appropriate (i.e. don't have plunging cleavage, but also don't look matronly). This suit is very flattering across the tummy area and covers her chest (very light padding) while still looking stylish. I do have to help her put it on, though, as it's very tight due to the higher quality materials used. (I think if we had gone up a size it would have been too long in the torso and the straps would have fallen down.) If it were easier to get on/off, I would have given it five stars. One positive note about the restrictiveness, though, is that the suit doesn't bag down in the front or creep up in the back when it gets wet, so I don't have to worry about her becoming inadvertently exposed (she can be somewhat oblivious when she's playing in the pool ;-)I order this speedo active criss cross one piece suit for the criss cross style to give extra support for the "girls" and some control for the figure as well as just being a bit more stylish than a plain front suit. I needed it in time for a pool sport event. Had it one day shipped and the wrong speedo came. No criss cross support etc but the other suit (speedo one piece scoop neck endurance suit) had a shelf bra as well and it fit so since I had to have something immediately for the event, I kept it. Not as interesting and stylish as the criss cross suit, but served the purpose and it is comfortable enough. Amazon refunded the difference. Maybe I will get the other suit some time. Either way, Amazon is the best and I can live with this suit. ;-)This suit is just what I was looking for to bring my toddler to swimming lessons. It provides adequate support in the chest area and does not come up too high on the leg. I felt that the fit was a little large and despite following the measurements on the sizing chart, had to exchange the original suit I ordered for the next size down. The smaller size is a little large still and the size smaller would be ideal but what I have is wearable and still looks flattering. It has held up beautifully despite the daily abuse from a highly chlorinated public pool and the washing machine when we get home. I hang to dry. The suit still looks and feels new.This is a very well made, high quality swimsuit and fits true to size. It provides good support for the girls and the criss cross design across the tummy, adds a nice slimming effect. The only issue I had was with the legs. I found them to be a bit too conservative/modest and for that reason, I ended up returning this item.I bought this suit thinking that it would be supportive of a bigger-chested girl (36G) but misread the description that I *thought* said "underwire". There is no underwire in this suit. The shelf bra is pretty cool, but those stopped working for me personally when I was 13 or so. Otherwise, this suit is very flattering and comfortable, and the material / stitching seems really high quality. Just didn't work out for me!This suit has a double layer 'spanx' effect that takes a bit to put on, but feels wonderfully supportive to wear. The pads are sized for a larger bust, so I just removed them. Great blue color.It fits like a glove. It has slimming properties. I put on the swim suit and lose 10 pounds immediately. Slimming is key, I love it. I want another in a different color. Per WifeI think I would have liked it if it had fit better. I am 5'2" and ~135lbs. I generally wear a 4 short in pants and a small to medium top. I ordered a size 6 in this suit. It was way too tight around my thighs. It also seemed too short for my torso and therefore, felt tight on my shoulders as well.Before even taking it out of the plastic, I noticed it had a white stain on the front chest area. The Speedo logo on the back looked like it was already beginning to peel off as well.
