It’s soft and it’s warm, but it’s certainly not attractive.If you’re strictly looking for functionality, this would be a great set. If you’re concerned about appearances, not so much. And for functionality, you can get some thing a lot less expensive that works just as well.Straight out of the box it looked really rough or “tired” due to the flattened pleats and ruffles. My wife said not to worry, once it was washed it would fluff up and look much better. That wasn’t the case. The pleated design just does not look anything near what the advertising photo did. The pleats, and the design are flat and deformed. One of the decorative pillows came out of the container with a giant dirty spot on it. I’m not sure if somebody actually took a nap on it prior to shipping or if it fell on the floor. I’m not sure how it got that dirty, but the photo doesn’t really do justice to how it actually looked. The two small throw pillows actually look really good on our couch so that is where we are going to leave those. As I stated, the comforter is soft and warm, it’s just not attractive. We had ordered this for one of the other bedrooms but decided we were best to use it in our bedroom because we didn’t care how it looks as much as we are concerned with comfort. The two pillow shams are a good match to the comforter, but with the texture of the pleats, they are decorative only. They’re not the most comfortable against your skin to attempt to use them to sleep on. Everything dried nicely and I do like the color, but the pattern is not nearly as attractive in real life as the photos make it appear.
