The Astute project is the realisation of the Italian dream: originated from the cooperation of Venetian craftsmen, specialising in the construction and construction of hand-made bike saddles, and enthusiastic entrepreneurs. Based on intensive analysis and studies in the laboratory and on the road, Astute developed a long range of international patents that set standards for bikers in the fields of technology, performance, comfort and styling. The result is completely novel and smart saddles made for professional cyclists and those who really love biking. With the MudLine line, Astute introduces a completely new family of Enduro saddles, which are characterised by a round saddle shape. Design specifications for this saddle line were taut guidance of the bike in rough terrain, exceptional shock absorber function and compact geometries to allow maximum integration of the bike to the freestyler. The basis of the innovative concept are two international patents for an aerodynamic single-shell construction in nylon carbon. It takes on the Astute philosophy of sportiness, coupled with exquisite design. Building on the T.D.S. concept, the Astute Top Design System, all the advantages of an open saddle are in line with the design features of a closed saddle. According to B.D.S. Bumper D system additional bumper pads are inserted into the rear zone, which adopt other shock absorber functions. The MudLine VT is equipped with lightweight, but robust titanium vanadium rails with a thickness of 7 x 7 mm. Furthermore, the revolutionary Tri-Density padding system with multiple degrees of hardness over the areas of different seat pressure provides extra seating comfort: unrivalled soft and comfortable is the pad on the saddle nose, where there is only low pressure to allow a comfortable sitting position in this area. For optimal support of the much stronger load in the area of the seat bones, the pad is equipped with a considerably harder foam in the back. In total, three different hardness zones ensure optimal adjustment of the saddle to the respective seat pressures. At the same time, the use of a completely innovative progressive memory foam ensures optimal regeneration of the cushion after the load, thus a constant padding geometry is guaranteed over the entire service life. This concept is rounded off by a special premium microfibre saddle cover: it is robust, yet soft; waterproof, breathable and washable. The MudLine_VT combines its round shape with a perinea-relieving cut-out in the middle.
