I needed to add a sub-panel and run surface-mounted circuits in my workshop. Since it's a workshop, I prefer the protection of EMT (bendable thinwall conduit). But I needed a good mounting solution for walls and ceilings. I shot a laser line for each run, and pre-mounted these to studs and ceiling joists (through the drywall). Working solo, I was able to put the conduit in place and make the connections while the clamps held it. A bonus is that these actually have a two-step clamp. The smaller / tighter setting grabs the 1/2" EMT perfectly. Great product. Easy to recommend.
