This is a cheaper hydraulic flaring tool but works very well. If you work with copper-nickel tubing, a more traditional flaring tool will twist up the tubing; you really need a hydraulic tool to make it work which is why I went with this one. It didn't disappoint, I got great flares redoing my car's brake lines. If you are a professional mechanic, you might opt for a more expansive kit as that will work faster, but for the DIY guy, this is perfect. Note, sometimes you need to press the ram back into the tool after you back of the screw.
