I LOVE this swimsuit! I really hate that I have to return it because it's too small.This style of swimsuit is my favorite because it can hide a multitude of sins without looking too modest or frumpy. For reference, I am about 5ft 1in, I wear L-XL tops and 16 jeans/bottoms. For years I have bought my swimsuits from Lands End, but this year I didn’t like any of their new styles, so I thought I would try out some other brands. Although the Lands End size 16 swimsuits have fit me perfectly, the Profile by Gottex was too small, so I would recommend sizing up.Although it was too small for me, I could tell the ruched fabric would have helped conceal my stomach and the skirted part of the bottom hid my butt without hanging down like a huge floppy dress. The pleated edges around the top and bottom is such a fun and flirty little detail that I love.When I ordered this, I was a little concerned with the way the top is made with removable straps. I am a 38 C bra, and usually like to wear a halter style suit because it feels more supportive. I am happy to say that the molded cups and great construction of this suit really does hold everything in place while looking cute! As I said, there are straps that are easy on/off, but this suit is made so well that I feel like I could totally wear it without them.I am VERY picky about swimsuit quality, I want them to be slimming and fit snugly like spanx so that underneath the outer “dress” layer it is holding everything in place and there is no jiggling and wiggling going on. This suit meets all of those expectations and is well constructed with high quality fabrics made to slim and flatter.I want to say that, like shapewear, a slimming suit like this is a little bit of work to get on, but it is so worth it. This is a classy, fun, flattering swimsuit that will make you look like a million bucks (as long as it fits). I HIGHLY recommend this swimsuit and I am heartbroken that it doesn’t fit, and they don’t make a bigger size.Note: I HAVE NOT been paid or compensated in any way to write this review, I really just love this suit that much.
