I bought two of these chairs as a retirement gift and was a little disappointed when two of the seat slats needed to be glued, screwed, and clamped before I could put it together. The chairs arrived with the two boards split 4"-6" .I didn't think returning them would be an easy option and because I was batting 1000 it appeared it could have been worse. After some overnight repairs sanding and staining, it appears they will be a hit. Also, they are quite light and easy to move around. Overall very nice.
