We registered for these for our wedding. I knew Denby was a no brainer (my sister is still using Denby from my grandparent's wedding), but I wasn't thrilled about their current selection of designs. They all seem either dated or a little too trendy, nothing timeless. I found these timeless beauties, but I was worried about these being labeled "china" and they are quite thin, but seem very resilient. We've been using them for a couple months now and they show absolutely no wear and tear. They are perfect for a formal dinner or a bowl of cereal in the morning.Beware, they are thin so they heat up quickly. This includes the mug, which is a little too hot for me to hold for fresh, hot coffee. We only ordered 4 of the 4-piece settings since we aren't fans of the mugs and individually ordered the rest of the plates/bowls. I highly suggest the "pasta bowls"! Perfect for a salad meal or bowl of pasta!Another reviewer mentions a square shape. These are not. They look just like the photo.
