We ordered this set primarily because we loved the curved knife handle, and the overall contemporary sleekness of the design. It is, however, much "daintier" than what we wanted for every day dining. (Fair enough: Other reviewers have pointed this out, and more than once!) We WANTED to love it, but it just didn't work for us. We could imagine porcelain bowls of consommé, followed by a serving of salmon mousse, and finishing up with rose petals en gelée... But, alas, that's not our every day meal plan...There's nothing really "wrong" with the product; it just isn't what we needed.
