This set is so beautiful! I have an antique set of First Love by 1847 Rogers Bros that I use for special occasions. This set will be my everyday flatware, and it looks very similar! I have photographed each piece with the corresponding piece of First Love in case anyone needed to see how they compare. The pieces in this set are larger. They have a good weight to them…not too heavy, not too light…and they have a lovely shine. I have not washed them in the dishwasher yet. The booklet that came with the set said to wash by hand with non-citrus detergent. That was a disappointing discovery, and it MIGHT have prevented me from purchasing them, had I known it before. But, in spite of that, I’m still very pleased and excited about this set and now I wouldn’t dream of returning them!
