Love love love them! The edges of spoons and forks are round (not 90 degree cut) so that they are smooth on your lips. They are mirror finish, minimalistic sleek design that I don't get sick of. Beautiful modern design with no compromise of functionality. I have used them for 2 years daily with dish washer, and they are dish washer safe (haven't been rusted), but got some scratches over time. Alessi is Italian, so the tea spoon in this set is a "true" tea spoon which is small enough for tea cups (usual American tea spoon is the same size as European dessert spoon). In addition to this set, I recommend getting dessert spoons separately. For people who grew up outside U.S., this tea spoon is a very nice thing to have again. I love the sets so much that I ordered more for future use in case Ovale series become discontinued.
