Fiestaware is the best, most sturdy and durable of any casual ceramics that I have used. It is ovenproof, microwaveable, and the colors are vibrant and beautiful. Ivory is a soft, buttery-beige that I love. At the time I purchased the ivory place setting, I had intended to finish out an entire set of six or eight in that color, but somewhere along the line I decided I would like to try another color. At that point, I began watching the best prices on Amazon for other colors and now am well on my way to building a multicolored array of place settings.
