I got my first 8 place serving set (45-Pieces) free as a gift from work (one of those catalog reward items for so many years of being there). I liked it.After 5 months of using the Provence stainless I ordered a 2nd set from Amazon. The quality appears to match my first set. Now I have a 16 place set and I'm ready for most any holiday onslaught of visitation by friends and relatives. Having a double set (90 Piece total) has allowed me to purge all my "hodgepodge" stainless, which I have bagged up and put away.I have large hands and these feel right to me. They are not heavy and neither do I find them wimpy. They work fine for me and I would not change anything about them.This stainless is easy to clean and unlike some reviews here of "Proveance" by Henckels, I myself have never had any rust problems with them. Not one iota. Disclaimer: I have high quality city water. Maybe those with acidic or hard water that they treat, etc - I don't know if that's a factor in their reported issues. I can just say the stuff cleans well in my dishwasher with Cascade, looks great. I'm a happy camper. I feel this is fairly priced for what you get.Note: There are no, what I would call old-skool style "soup spoons" in this set -- by "old skool" soup spoons I mean the circular shaped hemi-spherical spoons. What you get instead: The larger of the two place setting spoons, the Tablespoon, is not that much smaller in size from the actual SERVING spoon in size. (OK it's probably 20% smaller). This is not a big deal to me. You certainly can eat soup with the Table, it's just a bit biggish. I actually use those Tablespoons ** as ** serving spoons for lesser condiment bowls on occasion if need be. Just to reassure you: The regular TEAspoons are sized normally.
