I have a set of four authentic Laguiole knives and was able to compare the two sets right away. This set of 6 does not compare to my authentic Laguiole knives. I can't be completely certain that this Amazon set is fake, but they don't feel or look like the same quality as the set I currently own. The metal looks cheap, and the blade is dull and thin, no carving detail down the spine of the knife, and they are very light in the hand. I will be returning these.
